The brief
The client picked this woodland raven from my flash collection and wanted it as a statement piece on their back.
The approach
With the artwork already drawn, the session was all about fitting it to the shoulder blade and keeping the feather hatching crisp. The raven is perched on a small rocky outcrop, which grounds the design and gives it that woodland feel.
