Just contact me with your ideas, rough sizing, and where on your body you'd like the tattoo to go. Once I look over your concept, I’ll reach out to finalise the details, arrange a deposit, and lock in your date. Did you check out my Flash designs in the meantime?

Flash designs start from £50+ depending on size and intricacy. Custom woodcut, engraving, and blackwork pieces are quoted individually per piece once we discuss placement and scale on WhatsApp.

A £30 deposit is required to secure your appointment date. This comes off the final price of your tattoo on the day. If you need to reschedule, I just ask for at least 48 hours notice so your £30 deposit can be transferred to a new date.

I love doing both! I regularly drop pre-drawn "flash" designs which are ready to go as-is. If you want something entirely unique, we can collaborate on a custom piece tailored specifically to your ideas and body placement.

Sometimes I share my designs ahead of time, although in most cases I draw and prepare all custom designs specifically for the day of your appointment. When you arrive at the studio, we’ll look at the design together on the iPad. This is the perfect time to check the flow against your body, scale it up or down, and make any minor tweaks together. We won't start until you are 100% happy with how it looks!

I am based out of Dermoda Studio in Highbridge, Somerset. It’s a fantastic, hygienic, and welcoming space. There is carpark situated just across the tattoo studio, it’s accessible and very cheap to park with ample availability at any time of day.

100%. I provide a strictly zero-judgment, LGBTQ+ friendly, and fully accepting experience. Tattoos are an incredible way to celebrate your body, your identity, and your story. Whoever you are, however you identify, and whatever your background, you are entirely welcome, safe, and respected here.

The social energy of the session is completely up to you! I am incredibly down-to-earth and always up for a good chat, a laugh, or swapping stories. But if you’d prefer a "silent appointment" to just zone out, listen to your own music, read a book, or process the pain in peace, there is absolutely no pressure to entertain me. Just let me know at the start of the session—I want you to be as comfortable as possible.

To keep the studio space relaxed, safe, and clean for everyone—and to let me focus 100% on giving you an incredible tattoo—I generally ask that you come to your appointment alone. However, if you are feeling incredibly anxious or have specific accessibility needs, just drop me a message beforehand so we can absolutely make arrangements for up to 1 friend or family member to join you!

Absolutely. You are in total control. If you need to stretch your legs, use the toilet, have a snack, or just take a breather for a few minutes, just tell me. Tattooing is teamwork, and I will never rush you or make you feel bad for needing a timeout.

Tattoos definitely carry a unique sting, but it’s completely manageable, and we can go entirely at your pace with plenty of breaks! Regarding numbing cream: please talk to me before buying or applying any. Some over-the-counter creams can change the texture of your skin, making it tougher to pack ink smoothly, and can cause the tattoo to heal poorly. Creams purchased from unregulated sites and marketplaces should be avoided completely. If we decide it's a good fit for your session, I'll tell you exactly which brand to use and how to apply it safely.

Prepping your body makes a massive difference in how the session feels and how beautifully your tattoo heals. Here is your ultimate prep list:

• Sleep well. Get a solid night’s rest before your session. Being tired lowers your pain tolerance.
• Eat a hearty meal. Eat a good, filling meal 1 to 2 hours before you come in. This keeps your blood sugar stable and stops you from feeling lightheaded.
• Hydrate. Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment. Hydrated skin takes ink much better!
• Skip the party. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session (it thins your blood and ruins the process).
• Skin care. Please avoid fake tan or getting sunburnt on the area. If you have a sunburn, we’ll have to reschedule!

Comfort over everything! Wear loose, dark clothing that you don't mind getting a stray spot of ink or stencil fluid on. Most importantly, make sure your outfit allows easy, comfortable access to the area we are tattooing (for example: shorts for a leg tattoo, or a button-down shirt you can wear backwards for a back piece).

It’s actually best to leave the shaving to me! I will clean, shave, and prep your skin right before we apply the stencil using fresh, sterile, single-use razors. Shaving at home a few days early can sometimes cause razor burn, micro-cuts, or irritated skin, which makes tattooing more uncomfortable for you.

When our session is done, I will wrap your tattoo securely and walk you through exact aftercare steps verbally, you can also access my full after care guide here. The hard work happens in the chair, but the beautiful finish happens at home—proper cleaning and moisturising are everything!

I want your tattoo to look incredible for years to come. Sometimes, during the healing process, a tiny bit of ink might drop out or fade slightly. I offer one free touch-up session within the first 3 months of your appointment if it needs a quick tidy-up. (Note: This doesn't apply if the fading was caused by clear neglect of the aftercare guide!).

My work is strictly dedicated to black ink—specializing in woodcut, engraving, etching, and solid blackwork. Small blackwork cover-ups or reworks are considered on a case-by-case basis via photo consultation on WhatsApp.
